HANDMADE IN THE MARLBOROUGH SOUNDS
Nestled below the rugged Northbank hills, where the forest towers over the beautiful golden stone riverbank of the Ohinemahuta River, you will find the unique Thirty One Rows vineyard. As the name suggests, there are only Thirty One Rows of ultra-low yielding and Organically farmed Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Syrah.
Over millions of years, the hills and river have created a diverse soil that combined with the natural airflow of the river and the microclimate of the vineyards position in the valley, produces wine that expresses incredible elegance, texture and length.

Our Story
Thirty One Rows began as every winemaker’s dream - a private home vineyard and passion project, producing exquisite wine to be enjoyed by close family and friends.
That was until the first vintage was tasted - the discovery of a wine too good not to share.

Our wines are produced from a dedicated organic and low yielding site, made in small batches using a minimalist approach by Andrew Bailey. As a member, you will be provided exclusive access to our wines, private events, library releases and co-lab opportunities with food, art, hospitality and music.
